Testimonials
Hi Val,
Huge thanks for the beautiful print which I received last Friday. It is so
so gorgeous. I purchased it as a Christmas gift but I am tempted to save it
for myself. I will definitely be recommending Galway Artworks.
Many thanks,
Michelle, UK

Edmund Dulac was born in Toulouse but moved to Paris where he started
his career as a book illustrator and costume designer. Dulac settled in London in 1906 and by the outbreak of the Great War he was established as a renowned artist. Edmund Dulac had a wonderful sense of colour and he increasingly looked to the Far and Middle East for his inspiration. The quality of his work is of stylized and sleepy beauty. Along with Arthur
Rackham he is regarded as one of the greatest illustrators of the early twentieth century. |
